kick stand question

kick stand question
Hey guys, quick question. I'm down here riding my father-in-laws 02 883 and he is in need of a new kick stand. He lowered his bike with the burly kit and now his stock kick stand is too long. His bike sits almost upright. We are wondering if a kick stand from a Hugger would allow is bike to sit at the proper angle? So, for all you guys with more knowledge, will a Hugger kick stand fix the problem? If it won't, does anyone know of one he can purchase that will?

Hugger kick stand will work and also if you get one from an 04 or newer it has the boot tongue on it so it's way easier to get it up and down, I have converted both my solid mount Sporties to the new style kick stand, they are very handy to have.
