Yeah, I PM'd him a while back about that. I think he paid like over a grand or something to have them shipped there, delaced, sprayed, then relaced.
I just purchased new wheels from www.hdwheels.com, because I wanted to go with different sizes, 21 front and 18 rear. I think bdorr sent his wheels to hd wheels for tear down/powder/rebuild .

Yeah, now that you mentioned it, bdorr was who I PM'd about the powdercoated wheels. I think he pretty much just shipped his wheels to them and they did all the work. Prolly why it cost so much.
Try Roger here. He's done work for myself and friends.Price list is on his site. Not that bad.You break em down and have an indy or dealer lace them up for you.Bearings and dust caps need to come out and new ones in also.Service and work is 2nd to none with Roger.

They're by where I live. Look up Tweakin's nightster. He had his wheels done by them
I sent mine down there. Great communication and excellent job. I paid $1,010 which was half of my total mod project.
Shipped the stock wheels down and they disassembled, two coats of powder coating (base maroon with flat candy), reassembled and installed new nipples, and trued. The second coat cost an extra $200 - but I was going for a specific look.
I didn't trust the local powder coater with my wheels. HD Wheels specializes in this.
