Well I have been on a mission to research solo seats for my '09 883L. Here are the ones that I have been looking at but I would like some input from others.
I know this is an often discussed topic but I'm trying to get alot of side by side comparisons under one thread with pictures.
If you have any experience with these seats please post your thoughts and any pictures you may have.
1. Mustang Solo seat (seems kinda big for my taste but sounds like the king of comfort)
2. HD Brawler
3. Lepera Bare Bones (Lots of people have pics posted of the older version, I would love to see this seat on an '08 or '09).
4. Lepera Silhouette Solo
5. C&C Solo
6. C&C LoPro Solo
7. Corbin Hollywood Solo
If you have information on any good seats I may have missed please feel free to post. With so many seat options its hard for me to make up my indecissive mind. Please help!
The Mustang is the Ultimate Comfort .. The Lepera Bare Bones will have you stopping every 60 miles rubbing your butt .. Is your call just giving you 2 seats I tried other than the stock one which discarded within a month of buying my 04 Sporty
I like my Mustang Wide Vintage Solo with removeable backrest. Wonderful change from the stock saddle. My *** loves the seat and my back loves the backrest - especially on longer rides. Here are pix with the backrest on and off. Check out DennisKirk.com for deals on these seats. Oh yeah - it sits a little higher than the stock saddle.
sajackson, If you're interested, I'll have a C&C solo seat in black leather with red stitched flames up for sale soon. I think you know what I'm talking about...

Now thats funny ****! I would be interested if it didnt have red stitched flames.
How comfortable did you find the stock seat on the low? I thought it was OK but I wanted a solo for the looks so I just bought a used Nightster solo almost new for cheap ($60) here in the classifieds. The more I ride it the better it feels. Haven't done over 100 miles at one shot yet though. Over the winter I may get it reworked with memory foam at Mean City Cycles.

if yr going solo then looks should be on the head of the list IMO. i have had 2 solo set ups, one custom seat (that i'm lookin to sell, if anyone is interested pm me) this seat was cool, a bit of a rough ride on the +150 miles days but i didn't have it for comfort, here is another pic of the seat on my bike when my scoot was basicaly stock to see how it sat...
the other is the west egale i have now, i love this seat, more comfortable than the above, flows with my bike better, and seems to be of really good quality.
