Get yer mind outta the gutter, Hooker Rebels! Ordered them on Thursday they should be here sometime next week, can't wait. I got a project for next weekend any tips?
Nice Wife! Make sure she knows it this weekend, cause next weekend it will be all about the pipes!
the only thing I didn't like about my hookers, was the head boltflange and retaining ring for the flanges. I'd use stock HD stuff instead. other then that you'll love'em
I hope they are beter quality then the hooker trouble makers. After only 1600 miles they leak terrible were the head pipe connects to the muffler, they have a reducer that they only weld about 1/3 of the way around, after the heat and vibration it started leaking. Time to shop for some good quality pipes.
when you are installing the support bracket pay close attention to where the bellcrank on the rear master cylinder touches the bracket. you will need to take a die grinder to it to gain some clearance otherwise your rear brake will drag bad. you can do this after you install the pipes by removing the little pin and letting your brake lever fall down all the way. then you can make sure it clears. the only other thing i did was wrap the baffles that came with it with some old header wrap. it makes the sound a little deeper and takes the edge off. still loud as hell.

moved to Alabama. Three year divorce. My new girlfriend (had nothing to do with the divorce) is five years younger and is loaded! Built with all the extras (heavy breather) taxes paid, house paid off, sort of a tan color with a long wheel base. So, I am holding off on the hookers!
