off idle issue
2005 XL1200C has an issue with off idle performance, but only after its warmed up. Once it's at operating temp it will idle fine and also cruise at speed fine with no problems, but when I come to a stop and let RPM's get down around idle, the bike bogs down and won't get off idle unless you twist the throttle a bunch and then it cracks and snorts but once you get it just over the hump it runs great again until you come to the next stop. The bike sat over the winter but it had Stabil in the tank so I'm at a loss for what to check. Any help is appreciated.

Stage 1 was done summer 06 when the pipes went on. I've never had a problem before, ever, and it did sit in the garage for about six months, but I put Stabil in it and now this gremlin. Thanks for writing back, help is appreciated as riding around town has become a real pain.
