If anybody needs any clear protective film, let me know. About $3.00 a sheet for 10" X 20" I am not selling to make money, just bought a big roll cheap and I know I'll never use all of it, and I figure it will cost me about $3.00 to package it and ship it.

Its only touching the side cover a little at the rear,

After about a two hour ride on Saturday I noticed a wear mark forming on the lower rear portion of the side cover from the bag. Anyone else having this problem? The marks seemed to come out with some wax. To help eliminatre this in the future I pot some felt stick on furniture button slides on the bag and some black electrical tape on the side cover where it was rubbing.

Has anyone else delt with this another way. I have also seen some pictures where guys have attached the bag over the side cover but I think that would be way worse.

really? anything that rubs against something is going to leave marks.
gives it character.

well to each his own i guess, i don't like seeing scratches and wear marks either. if it were an older bike, wouldn't give a **** but not on this thing. i solved the wear problem on mine by attaching a piece of velcro to the bag (the soft side obviously) on the contact area and voila.

You could buy a piece of felt from a fabric store and glue it on. Probably a bit less expensive and almost as easy.
