Gas Octane
Picked up my 100th Anniversary 1200C a few days ago, took some high test gas 92 in a gas can to fill it up. This has been the general consensus here. Ran great. Read the manual from front to back and was surprised to see that the 03 manual says 87 octane for 1200's, except for the Sport which takes high test. What do I do? Yep..........put 87 octane in it yesterday. Drove it back, tucked it away. Went for my ride today, noticed the throttle wasnt as snappy and got my first hiccup at the first stoplight I got to. Would go to take off from the light and got some spark knock. Even after I got back from the ride, the throttle was still not as snappy.....Going to siphon that schit out of there tomorrow. Anybody want some crappy gas?
