oil capacity
i have a 2000 883 hugger with the bigbore kit i bought it 3 years ago had the motor redone last year (honed and new rings) and i am going to be changing out the breakin oil and i need to know the oil capacity any help would be appreciated TIA

Approx 3 quarts for an oil change. Add 4 oz. to the filter before installing, and 2.5 quarts to the tank. Crank it up and let it run for several minutes, then shut down and check oil level on the dipstick. Add additional as needed.
