Default gas problem?

I had a guy tell me earlier that my carb was flooding because when I shut the bike off, the fuel filter bubbles. is that true?

More likely float needle sticking or float itself sticking.

Your fuel filter should not bubble, is it getting that hot that it's boiling the fuel?

I would think that if the float was sticking you would see fuel running out of the over-flow tube to the ground.

no leaks at all anywhere...not hot either. I don't know what the probem is or if there really is one.

What I meant was the needle might be sticking in the closed position, at initial shut down thus not allowing fuel into the carb bowl.
Then when it sits the needle releases and fuel flows into the bowl.

Check to see if the needle or needle seat show any signs of damage.
