Always find a way to make yourself known loud pipes bright lights maybe a knock on the window. You have to ride like no one can see you. Make yourself their worse nightmare. I love pulling up next to a joker that has nearly killed me and rev the engine shoot them the look of death and roll on pass keeping in mind they still want to kill you. I today actually followed a lady about 3 miles out on my way to yell and scream at her for pulling out in front of me and then relaizing what she had done and frozze. LOCKEd them up and missed her. I was chewing her azz 3 ways from sunday too bad she is Japanese and didn't understand 1/2 of what I was saying but as I rode away I felt much better.
itry to remember this, you have a bullseye on your back and the cagers/arrows..you get the idea, drive defensively.when i.m riding along side rear i try to get in their side view mirrior, and watch their head movement.,
I try to pass threw their blind spot as quickly as possible and I always look at the driver's eyes threw his side view mirror. You can usually tell if he's getting ready to make a lane change that way. My Sporty's only a week old. I plan on getting some better (louder) pipes soon.
I'm lucky as there isn't very much traffic out here in the 'boondocks', but I constantly worry about being taken out by whitetail deer, wild turkey, and other such critters. [8D]
Do your best to get through their blind spots as quickly as you can.. I also find myself watching both their front tire and their drivers side mirror to see if I can detect a sudden lane change.
