A few months ago I had to lay my 08 Ultra down when some idiot ran a stop sign.
While it was being repaired (took about a month), I started thinking about a second bike.
Was moaning to my wife about buying a Sportster. She got tired of hearing it and said to go and buy it. So I did.
My problem is that the Ultra is only 1500 miles away from 20k service and that whenever I think about riding the Ultra to put the miles on it, I get on the Sporty and ride for the pure enjoyment of it.
Wonder if the Ultra will make 20k now.
Is this a sickness?
Just keep riding man and everything will work out. you'll get the mile on. I love my sporty and hope i can add to the stable but i'll never give the sporty up for anything.
I'm buying a bike and the Sportster prices are very attractive but my buds all say get a softtail. What should I do?????
Buy what you want. Thats what you should do. Dont worry about what your friends say. Are your friends going to make the payment for you? Probably not. Get what you want.
