We have never had a problem with 2 up. The 883 pulls just fine. As for the difference between my Custom and the Nightster you are looking at they are: Nightster sits about 2-1/2 inches lower at the seat and about 1 inch less ground clearance and has mid controls and single seat (besides the obvious styling difference). All of these may work to your advantage as I read earlier in the thread that you have about a 2-3 inch shorter inseam than I do. I am attaching some pics of the new seat, for the nightster you may want to get the Mustang solo and a seperate passenger pillion that you can put on only when riding 2 up. Also the Nightster is a 1200 (some extra get up and go)
