wait 9 months for a two week ride thru the southwest, drive across the state to my bros house...and the guy who was supposed to dig out my bros pond didn't show today-bro won't leave til it's done. Agh! Guess who gets to ride solo (again) out of here tomorrow.
Set my alarm for 5:30, got up, got a cup a coffee and proceeded to pack up my bike feeling like crap for having to ride solo AGAIN... the guy pulls in Bro's driveway. He is supposed to be back today to finnish the pond - so I guess I put off my departure for one more day, & see if he comes thru. It is really going to po me if he doesn't show up today & still end up riding solo...but I can't hang out any longer and wait...I only have the rest of this week and Sunday after next I have to be back at the grinding stone. I did NOT put in 70 hour work weeks to NOT get out of the state on my vacation. rant off now... thanks for the vent.

(Bro) went out 20 years ago, and riding solo is the only way to go.
Most who have replied know I rode solo last year (across 7 states) when I took my sister's ashes to the North Rim. They also know I call him Bro because that is exactly who he is & has been my whole life.
