Default Engne guard removal.

looking to take off my engine guard. I noticed that the bottom bolts look like they are connected to the engine mount. can I just take those off or are there other steps i need to take? thanks ahead of time.

The top 2 bolts connect the upper motor mount. The bottom 2 bolts do nothing else but secure the bottom of the engine guard to the frame.

Make sure you put the two top bolts back torque to 25ft lbs .The bottoms you can leave out but if it wer me id put them back as not to lose em. If you want to put the guard back on.

Im pretty tool savvy but have never used a torque wrench. is there a big difference between a torque and socket wrench. is there a way to judge the ft/lbs with a socket wrench or is it just once it feels snug?
