Question Kickstand Problems

Due to the wife being vertically challenged, we had to lower her 08 Sporty 1200L another inch so she could flat-foot the bike. We also ordered and installed a 1" shorter kickstand. Now we have a new problem....with the kickstand being shorter, it is hard for her to find with her toe when she parks the bike. I have been looking for an extension of some kind to put on the end or out to the side to make it easier to find, like the extension on my Heritage. Anybody out there had this problem or have a solution to this problem?

That jiffy stand extension should work. I was going to get a Nightster jiffy stand for my wife's but she just got used to putting her foot where it needs to be.

You could wiggle on a short piece of automotive heater hose to the end to make it easier to find.

You're talking about the jiffy-stand, right?

Maybe he's talking about his wife.

Good call...and about $44 cheaper.
