love your bike and always love your videos, but im not in it for performance and the TTI's did want i wanted.............i like how mine runs and rides like it is and it looks like how i wanted
They work if you want them too. Of course the people that sell them are going to say what ever it takes to get people to buy them. Hammer Performance is one of the most respected performance motorcycle engineering and high performance suppliers there is and when they say they could never get much of any thing out of them on their dyno I listen. They have tested more exhaust systems than every one else combined. I don't need all the internet buzz.
I have to say I think they work in as much as I changed out a couple of other things at the same time on my 2018 48 Special. i.e. an external breather kit with a "bobber" style free flowing air cleaner, replacing the S/E air cleaner with internal breathing, a pair of DK's 158 tti's in my V&H short shots. Previously use to run like absolute s**t especially at low rev's popping and banging, heavy on fuel, engine management light use to to come on on a regular basis also with small amount of decel popping.
It now runs really sweet no decel popping, 50mpg very noticeable gain in torque especially low down and sounds nicer with a quieter deeper note. I also have an FP-3 which was installed prior to any of the above changes which I found previously set on the short shots with baffles removed map setting ran better than the baffles installed map setting, despite the baffles being in situ. I had to remove the baffles to fit the 158's, not enough room for both and was advised by DK to continue to run the baffles removed map which turned out to be exactly right. So in conclusion and IMO I'm convinced they work.
