I got a DTC code U1097 "loss of speedometer serial data to ECM"
I have cleared it to see if it shows up again or was just a fluke but was wondering if anyone knows what that means.

 

I would be checking your fuse box for corrosion,also replace your system relay,my 07 would start this kind of crap right before the system relay would go south.

 

+1 - Also clean the ECM contacts and coat them and all electrical contacts with dielectric grease.

 

Thanks, I will get a system relay just in case and check the ECM connections, I added a PC5 about a month ago so maybe something has vibrated a bit loose there, maybe I should zip tie the connectors onto the ECM and the PC5,
I'm hoping it was a one time thing but I'd rather be prepared. I'll take it for a long ride after work and see if the code reapears.
