Thundermax u1016 code

I have been getting a trouble code since installing the tmat. It was U1016. I spoke with Randy today from thundermax and he said this is normal. It has to do with the ecm being different than harley's. Just thought I would share in case anyone else was wondering.

I hate to disagree with Randy but I'm gonna say that you shouldnt be getting those codes
if everything is operating properly than I cannot see any reason you should be setting codes

I was wondering if it has something todo with the extra electronics in the ultra's, Classics or RG's. Maybe the security system. I do know that everything is running good so far. I have been running it for 700 miles without any problems.

Nope, I've been getting these codes on my fatboy ever since I installed the autotune module to go along with the ECM, which is why I suspect it has something to do with the autotune module. It makes sense since my Electrical Diagnosis manual mentions the serial data connector (which the autotune plugs into) for that code. I don't, however, think this is "normal" since there are not a lot of us getting this. Same as you, though, my bike is running great otherwise.
