oil consumption question ?

Default oil consumption question ?
i have a 2009 1200c it as 3750 miles on it cheek oil on it needed 3/4 of a quart it had 1000 mile serve is it nommal to have to put oil in betewen oil changes

mine did the same.
I have 3400 on mine.
will check with the dealer when it goes in for 5k service.

Keep your oil level no more than half way between the marks on the stick and you'll have less blowby.

My bikr has almost 14K on it and does that. I keep the oil almost to the full mark.

Yep, If I top off my oil tank it promptly burns of half way down to the add oil mark and stays there.

Keep your oil below the half way mark. You'll be fine as long as you can see oil on the dipstick.
