I bought my Tach on Ebay.It is part # 67182-95d.I took it out of the box and decided to have the dealer put it on.It wasn't as easy as "plug-in".That is for sure

Default Ask, and you shall receive

May be a little blurry, taken with my I-phone. I really like the location, above the Speedo. You can glance at it very quickly without moving you eyes much.

Photo is great thanks for posting it. It shows what I wanted to know, the location of the tach to the speedo. I had seen pictures of both side by side. I am wondering how a W/S would fit with this combo?

Default Windshield

I have the Sport Windshield - 58024-96A. It fits fine with plenty of room between the back of the Tach and Windshield. It is just high enough to knock most of the wind off your chest and shoulders, yet not big and gaudy looking.

They are easy to install if you buy the right one, and even if it's not the right right one all there is, is a hot (power wire), a ground and a third wire you run to the coil, on your bike either connection works.
It's gravy!!!!!!!!!!!!

Default Tach is installed

Hey guys, thanks for the info. I installed the tach yesterday, and it was so easy. Three wires (Red=power, Black=ground, and Yellow=tach signal). All wiring is done in the handlebar mount (XL 1200C). Red wire splices with Orange wire in the Instrument Plug #20, The black is to ground wire in Plug and the Yellow wire splices with the Pink wire for the tach signal. I guess that other models have this plug under the seat? Took about 45 minutes Start to finish. Thanks Paul

I really like that tach setup. It looks really clean. My problem is that I have a 1200 Low with the speedo above the bars. Any idea on how to mount that mini H-D tach in my situation?
Thanks for the help.

Make certian you get on for the right year or it's a pain in the *** to hook up. The part # you need is a 68950-99a or a 68953-04.
