check engine light
I have a 2005 XL 883L. When I was out riding today I noticed while riding that my check engine light would come on and then turn back off a little while later then turn back on. I have read the post before on doing the diagnostics and I have done them and came out with these codes..
P - no rSP
S - U1255, Pn 6890-04 (the U1255 means four different things... Missing Message at Speedometer EFI, Serial Data Error/ Missing Message EFI, Serial Data Error/ Missing Message Instruments, Serial Data Error/ Missing Message TSM/TSSM.)
SP - None, Pn 67037-04
T - None
Can anyone please tell me what all these mean or give me a little help on it I checked and I am still not sure what it means.

Not sure what year your bike is but if it's fuel injected and you have recently added a fuel programer that might have triggered the code.
I added a PC5 a few months ago and about a month ago I got a code "loss of spedometer serial data to ECM", I cleared it and it hasn't come back.
