Hi, again. The stock 2 up seat on my 883C is a pain in the ***...literally. Is there a HD seat that provides the comfort I am seeking? I heard the Sundowner seat is pretty good. I was looking at the Mustang seats, but it seems that there are not many options. Does anyone know of any aftermarket companies I can go to? Finally, is the addition of the gel substance worth the extra cost?
I put a Mustang vintage solo on my 883/1200C and it raises and moves you forward, just a bit. At 6'2" I wasn't crazy about that part, BUT, it is much more comfortable than the stock seat. I'm glad I got it.
look at the drag specialties fatbook they have just about every seat and manifacturer many many choices out there. we sell alot of lepara seats for the Sportster and the main question seams on sportster seat is getting lower.
I had the Mustang Vintage Wide Solo on my 883c. Loved it very much. When I traded the Sportser in I road it back to the dealer on the stock seat, and ouch, that was the worst 10 miles. I do have the Mustand seat for sale, if you are interested. I also have the fender bib. I would take $225 plus shipping if you are in the market. I have picture I can e-mail you if you would like to see it on a Black Pearl 883C.
