I have a '03 sportster 1200 i just got a couple of months ago. I got the Rush Slip Ons and i put a K & N high flow tear drop air filter on it, since my buddy had it laying around from his 2003. I had to have it re-mapped also because i was getting the popping on decel and it would pop sometimes when i was at lower rpm's or starting off from a stop. Took it to my buddies shop and he put it on the dyno and did the work. Runs like a champ now.

I installed the rush slash down slip ons with a 1.75 baffle and the first day it did a lot of popping but it seems like the more I drove the better it got, love them now! I think if you have 07 or older bike your computer just needs to adjust it's self to the new pipes. I have an 07 XL883L.
