Smile Finally ordered the 1200 conversion kit!

Hi all, I just ordered the 1200 conversion it for my 2004 883c. I am really excited about it and can't wait for it to be installed. I called the dealer i go with a couple days ago and asked for a price on doing the conversion. I was pretty shocked when they said $850 out the door counting parts, labor, and taxes. Also rejetting and dynoed. I figured it would cost much more. So today i ordered it and hopefully it will be done by next week. It's just the jugs, cylinders, and gaskets. I can always put different cams and heads on it later if i decide. Will i be shocked with the results as far as way more power? The 883 was a great motor for just me but when i rode 2 up with my girlfriend just seemed sluggish. Just excited about the getting the conversion. Thanks all!!!

You're not going to be shocked but it will have quite a bit more git up and go, compared to a stock 883.

That's cheap, i just did mine, and the part were $899 just for the parts. I got the SE kit. I got about 50 miles on it so far, so i'm still babying it. But i could not help getting on it a little. As i can tell it has more a lot more power in all gears. Once its broken in i will be updating you guys

I'm not sure if it's screaming eagle or not. They are running a winter speacial they say. 20% off. When i ordered my jugs and pistons the total was 524 and some change. Just asked how much for the basic conversion and that's what they quoted me. I'll have to get some more information and let you all know.
