I got a '06 883 an I need to change the stock air cleaner for something less restrictive, but which one flows best?
Also, I got a Thunderslide kit to fit and a 1200 big bore but will I need to change the idle/slow jet in my 883 carb?
The carb kit is for a 1200, but I don't know if the idle/slow jets are different from 883 to 1200.
I've got on a pair of slash cut mufflers which are baffled but only just!
Any help much appreciated.[sm=feedback.gif]
I went with the Arlen Ness big sucker stage II.
Very nice set up and quality .
I put the scalloped billet cover on it .
As far as the slide kit .
I dont believe the 1200 kit will work with your XL883 carb,
I order a Dyno-Jet ( original ) kit for mine and found out the 883 and 1200 are different kits .
I never ended up using mine .
I paid just under $100.00 for it , I would selit to a HDForum member for $75.00 plus shipping.
