I have 10" apes on mine which is a different style than you are looking for. But they are 32" and I have pictures in my profile. Don't know if that would help or not, but the wider bars are more comfortable for me than the stock ones were.
Width fersure is a major consideration....Myself, I desired the extra width, but that's just me.
I ain't took pics yet cause the new bars, cables, brake hose and speedo mount are yet installed. I'm waiting for a HD-48119 Molex crimp tool to arrive so I can install the HD extended wiring harness I'll need with the taller bars.
You can get T-bars from other suppliers in about any height and width.....Some USA shops will even make them to order....I just suggested them as an extra option for you to consider.
I was considering t-bars at first, but, the width was a factor that made me not be 100% on them. Plan B is maybe a 6 1/2" riser with a broomstick. Either way, I'll be anxiously awaiting your pictures.

Yeah, definitely a different style. Thanks though...you have a good lookin' machine there.
Nice dude. I kinda like that. I'd definitely like to see more once you get her all cleaned up.
Thanks, but they gotta come off...they have issues.
Just noticed that the slot holes for the switch wires aren't long enuff to allow the hand control clamps to be installed without smashing the wires....So I gotta extend the slot holes longer toward each bar end.
No matter what risers you decide, first run a 1/2" tap thru the bolt holes to remove any coating or chrome or weld splatter....mine were really fouled.
The switch housings you see installed are genuine HD, they came prewired with 5' of wires and switches already installed and the factory connectors/pins....Truely painless way to extend the wiring...Cost $124 thru Zanotti's and you can sell your old assemblys.
Where do you get your air filters I have a air cleaner like yours and I inherited the bike so I have no clue where to start to look for a filter I have looked online to no luck.
That a Hyper Charger from Kuryakn....Not sure but they may use a "rechargable" K&N style filter element where all you do is wash, dry and reoil it using a K&N kit. If Chad doesn't respond soon check out the Kury site.
Not looking to hijack the thread or anything, but I want to change out my bars as well. I'm doing the obligatory speedo relocation and I'd like to get about 1"-2" in additional height and pullback than I currently have on my '04 XLC.
Will this set accomplish what I'm looking for? 8" rise, 5 " pullback T-bars.
