I am looking to buy a new set of chrome rims for my 06 1200 Custom.
Unfortunately the bike has sat for two years as I moved across for Canada for work, but am returning home April 1st and want to spoil the bike for having it sit so long.
I will obviously need new tires so I might as well get myself a nice set of chrome wheels as well.
Do I need to buy a matching set or would just the front wheel suffice?
Does anybody know of a good place to buy these? Does not matter if its a Canadian or American distributor, I have an office in the U.S I have stuff sent to all the time.
Lots of aftermarket makers like RC Components. No point on wasting money at dealer. And yes you can just buy the front. Most bikes you can't even see the rear wheel with the pulley sprocket on one side and the rotor on the other.
Got mine from HogPro. They have big selection and great customer service. I think they are also forum sponsors...at least they were when I bought my wheels from them.
