Bung Hole on V&H Short Shots

Bung Hole on V&H Short Shots
Does anyone know what size screw is used to plug the Bung Hole on a set of V&H short shots? Like a dumba$$ I installed them before realizing I needed to plug it.

not sure the exact size bro but had to plug one once and can tell you it is a pain in the **** to find the size and thread you need. Might look on ebay for short shot plug may be easier. The size is not quite a half inch pipe thread. like a 16" under and ito is fine threaded. If yu don't order from ebay best bet is to take the muffler up to a hardware store that has bolts in very large sizes. I spent half a day back and forth to home depot and lowes only to finally pull the pipe back off and take it with me. In the end could not find what I needed at lowes or home depot and if I remember right I found it at an ace hardware or something like that. I used a short bolt which sounds pretty easy to find except it is such a large diameter for a bolt it is hard to find. Good Luck Bro.

Just went through this,
I went to ace hardware and got a brass plumbing fitting, damn I cant remember right off hand what size plug it was? I will look and see if I can find the receipt. I believe there is only one or 2 sizes of brass plugs and one of them fit perfect.
