For anyone who likes the look of a side mount speedometer and wants to do it but can't seem to find the correct parts or even can't come to terms with some of the flaws from ideas on the web.
With in the next 2 months I will be selling very few kits in which for most will be a dream come true for the speedo relocate.
The kit will include as follows:
1. Speedo Bracket (ATM 1209)
2. Custom Handle bar Clamp with Indicator (no more double sided tape or glue or cheap look)
3. Custom Speedo Housing (to eliminate ghetto taping and possible leaks-setup will fit in ATM 1209)
4. Custom side mount lowering bracket (lowers the mount location in which the actual speedo will mount so its not hidden behind the gas tank and will leave a clean look)
Kit will be bolt on ready and my goal is to make the complete install possible in under 30 minutes with no customizing or altering needed. PURE BOLT OFF BOLT ON!
All parts are being custom made for sportsters. I think this will be an amazing kit that i am so excited to share with my fellow sporty riders.
the entire kit will be under $500 I am hoping to get it under $300 but no promises at this moment.
I am posting this as a heads up as well as an open discussion for any ideas or suggestions for the kit as i am not doing this to try and make money as much as i am trying to help everyone with this speedo relocate we all seem to be interested in soon. Pictures and further information will be posted as soon as they are available.
$500 is to cover my own tail its a high number just so i dont screw myself it should be in the area of 250 but if you point me in the rite direction i would be happy to look at the joker kit and give you a comparrsion.
Not to bad but it is a completely different setup.....with that setup it requires re-wiring which is always a little risky especially for those who may not be auto electric handy. also with that setup it mounts to the front forks which although you cant tell in those pics ive seen it in person it sticks way out and basically just takes the huge tumor on the bars and puts it on the side fork. its all a matter of opinion though.
with my setup there will be no re-wiring and the indicators (blinkers oil etc.) will remain on the handlebars for easy viewing while the Speedo it self is moved to a similar location as the air filter just on the opposite side. getting rid of that bulgy tumor look.
so in the end its all on how you want your bike to look. my kit has no re-wiring no blocked vision and no eye sours....its all opinion....
my point exactly Its just what you like I am not trying to put down another product im not a company or a manuf. just some one with a different idea. the kit i want to offer is a different setup and would give another option thats all
At the moment it is talk haha the parts are being made by a machine shop ive been working together with for a while... as soon as its available pics will be up as well as prices this is not for profit this is to help fellow riders i need you to see that im only posting now to see who would be interested and to see if anyone has any other ideas they think should be added to the kit
also the "joker" kit is not a joker kit i forget the manuf. but its offered alot of other places i believe jpcycles offers it for only 190 if anyone is looking for it
