Battery Replacement
I'm about to install a new battery. I've heard horror stories about doing this. I've never pulled the battery out of my bike, but I can see how it could be a major PITA.
Any little helpful tips??

Pull the master fuse.
Disconnect the wires from the Positive (+) battery post.
Slide the battery out of the box as far as you can.
If you're lucky, you can then reach the negative battery post and disconnect that cable. If not, disconnect the other end of the Negative battery cable from where it's bolted to the motor, and pull the cable out with the battery.
After rebuilding your clutch, this is really kindergarten stuff.........

Hi, Piece of cake if You have 3 hands LOL, the trick was sliding the battery out 3/4 of the way ( give or take ) after removing the + cable, balancing it while trying to reach in and remove the rear - cable from the battery. Really important not to have Your 5 1/2 y/o helper in the garage at the time as they are like parrots and repeat everything they hear to GrandMa . Quite easy as even I got it done ! Good luck........WVleo
