Default turn signal controls ?

Hey I know I'm probably just being stubborn here but;

Since I've been brought up on Jap bikes mainly, when I ride the new "Iron" the turn signal controls really through me...I assume you all are well and truely used to that now though right ? Or has anybody even swapped them out ( if that's even possible) for the type that you opperate from just the left hand side ? I guess I really don't like the way you can't tell if they are on or off just by the feel of the toggle switch...I hate looking down out my control when riding through busy city intersections....but like to know I'm not flashing a turn signal if i don't intend to turn..!

Get used to it, I think it is easier, I had a Yahama before I got my sporty and could never get used to the left-hand controls. Plus we have self-canceling t/s (when it works).

I've never heard of someone wanting to do that! I would definitely recommend you just get usta them. But it's your bike, do what you gotta do.

You just get used to it. My problem isn't the turn signals, other then hitting the button after they've already canceled themselves and turning it back on. My problem is the extra reach to the high beam switch. Invariably I hit the horn instead, and since it's dark I can't even look down to see the switch. Maybe lit control buttons?

I,ve had mine for three years and would still prefer both to be controlled from the left, it's not a big deal though. I do like the self cancelling feature a lot.

I've rode all kinds of scoots, I like Harley's way better. I kept forgetting to turn off those darn things on the metrics. You should try a scoot without any signals.

Teh turn signal wires are seperate on the main wiring harness. Not worth the effort to fab a switch.
