Thanks for all the replys. I kind'a fingured the bikes were made to be used in some heat. It just seems SO hot and humid, had me wondering about this. I was stopped at a light behind a big SUV blowing warm exhaust on me, over fresh black top, ontop of an already warm engine, with the wind blocked from trees and the super hot sun shining straight on me. It had to be about 120 or so, could'nt wait to get the bike moving again.

Here in Ontario it was 44 or 45C with the humidity factor included which would translate to somewhere in the area of 115F which is mighty warm for this area. No, I did not ride in that hot of a temp. but having said that I feel the bike itself would have been OK because the engines are designed to operate in temps like that but 'I'm not'.

No real help here just some sympathy for the heat wave you guys are experiencing. According to the news this A.M. , midwest and east are experiencing weather pattern that has moved east from the western states. It's official. We just completed the hottest July in recorded history in Southern California. Way too many days of 100+ heat. Now these low to mid-nineties feel pretty d@mn good.

Stay cool you guys. This too shall pass.

Primo
Yes indeed... So Cal was smoking hot for over two weeks... I just got my electric bill today to prove it. $574!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a bunch of horse crap that is!!!
