Default Rider Footpeg Recommendations

09 883L with mid-controls......I'm looking to change the rider footpegs and hoping for some recommendations. Have any of you changed yours and what did you switch to?

I switched over to the diamond black pegs. I like them as they are longer than the stock pegs mine came with. They give me a little more wiggle room.

I put on some Kuryakyn pegs (model 8025) and like them a lot. There is more room to move your feet and they damper the vibrations better.

Thanks for the suggestions! Any problems with the installation of the new pegs? It seems like it should be an easy mod.

I went into my dealer and looks at as many different styles as I could. I went with a matching set of grips and footpegs and decided I liked the feel and look of the Chrome and rubber series.

I tried the heel raiser (has the hidden rest that you can extend when riding) I didnt care for them as the angle I prefered for riding made it impossible to utilize the heal rest portion when they were extended. The regular Chrome and rubber series was far better.

Foot pegs and grips are one of those things that are simply a personal thing. I really like the new "Silencer" line by HD.

Takes about 5 minutes to install a pair...I did both mine and the passengers.

I went with the Kuryakyn Small Iso Pegs - I love them. Thanks for the advice!

I switched the passenger pegs with the rider pegs. Much more secure footing for me and the rear pegs kind of disappear when I fold them up.
