Default My wife's clutch

It was most likely the aftermarket clutch plates I tried.(energy one brand) I put in complete the 06 883 clutch off e-bay and haven't had a problem since. I suppose it could have been a defect in my old clutch hub or the shell and sprocket. I trashcanned all those parts because I do not want any mix ups. All is well with hers....As for my bike (05 XL1200R) I put new S.E. cylinder heads, S.E. head gaskets, studs, S.E. lifters, 44 mm carb. S.E. plugs, S.E. perfect fit pushrods with S.E. aircleaner and S.E. 2 exhaust. Everything Except cams and it is kickin 79 3/4 HP. I am doing cams soon....

Wow, just to think what you could have done if you had not wasted so much money on "SE" parts that give you pennies on the dollar in performance returns.

Sorry, tried to tell you.

Default OVER filling the tranny?

Are you saying that the illustration in the manual is incorrect?
In this illustration it shows the fill line (page 1-17, fig 1-25) which is actually about 1.4 quarts. You suggest using slightly less primary fluid and loose primary chain tension?

I have just changed all fluids on my 1200 C and seem to have a god awful twack when engaging fist gear, going to 2nd or returing to 1st from 2nd is no problem but the initial engauging from nutral to first is hard.

Your thoughts.

DS
