Anyone know if NRHS makes some good quality stuff? I was looking at their bolt on big bore kits, and things like the variable pressure clutch. Anyone use any of this stuff first hand? Also, is it bad from the motor at all to use a 1250 bolt on kit? They look like a good company, just wanted to see if anyone used their stuff of heard anything about them
i've had heads i bought from outta there for my 93 sportster, they're a very good company IMO with lotsa free tech help unlike the HD shop who charges **** rape prices and get pissed off if ya ask more than 2 questions. if you get something from them just remember to ask what should i run with this cuz my NRHS heads by themselves didn't do f--kall for my HP on my unmodded bike (heads were worked 4 high compression) they only increased my fuel efficiency but when i added the recommended S&S .555 cams, programmable ignition and S&S super E then the headwork really poured it on because the bike had more tools to utilise the headwork. its like you dropped .551 cams into a OEM 1200 with 9:0:1 compression won't do nothing and would actually hurt your performance until you raise the compression to access the cams potential. i will say i never used their 1250 kit cuz its only 50cc but everything else rocks outta NRHS IMO
Have you been on the XL Forum? Seems to be a lot of satisfied NRHS customers. I'm on the fence about going with a NRHS 1212 conversion. I've talked to NRHS and Dan is very helpful.

Yeah what he said xlforums.net they speak NRHS over there
I got my 1250 kit from them. Dan is top notch on customer service.......as a matter of fact when I ordered I just was gonna order on line and let that be it. But Dan went out his way and called me to confirm my order, and go over suggested setups to use with the kit. And not once did he try to get me to buy more stuff from him, he just wanted to make sure I would be happy with the 1250 kit. He helped me figure out what cams and ignition would be a good choice for me for my riding style, and what type of power I wanted out of the kit. Check out the xlforum site, NHRS sponsors their conversion forum over there.
So far I'm very happy with NHRS. I have the 1250 conversion kit. Only have a few thousand miles on the new engine, but so far it's great. Very good people at NHRS also.
thanks everyone for the help. Looks like i'm going to be giving Dan a call!
Ya wont go wrong with them. Love my hurricane flow I got from them and darn fast shipping and awesome customer service for sure. Its why I went with them because those are the kind of people and businesses that I want to support.
