relocated coil....plug wire question

relocated coil....plug wire question

yesterday i relocated my coil on my 09 iron , when i was done it would'nt fire up, so i switched the spark plug wires , and then it started

my ?

i have seen alot of nightsters with the short plug wires going from each side of the coil directly to the closest cylinder , did they rewire the plug on the back of the coil ?

i could'nt get mine to run with the plug wires like that...it just would backfire , but when i crossed them , it fired right up

I guess the factory has switched from dual fire to single fire now.

Speaking of this...
There was a guy on Ebay who was selling a pretty good looking coil mount bracket for Sportys.
I can't find them now, but they looked great. Does anyone know where to find them?
