Custom conversion
Well after some time on the bike I have basicly converted my low to a custom..lol I used to own a 04 884 custom and loved it just traded up to a 1200 for a lil better performance when riding 2 up.. I bought a 2007 1200 Low new and love it.. but on long trips my back was a lil sore from the handle bars position. So i put some minis on her from a dyna steet bob.. worked ok but not quite enough, so i found a Custom riser assy off ebay and installed that. After swapping all the cables again and modding the wireing a bit. I got rid of the headlight visor and went with a custom headlight. Drilled the lower tree, carefully blended and tapered the hole just a bit...and done. So far...lol I wana run the wires in the bars to clean it up some..But not too bad for a $250 dollar conversion.
