DIY Tuninge???
How difficult s it, and what does it entail, to tune your bike for a new Hypercharger A/C? Never done it but saw some posts on changing jets to #45 pilot and #180 main with 2.5 turnout on the a/f screw (he he, starting to sound like I know WTH i'm talking about).
I experienced some hesitation prior to installing the new A/C at higher speeds and RPMs (50mph+). Now the bike feels like it's trying to catch up with my throttle twists. Definitely not clutch drag. I'm willing to bet the jets are FILTHY because when I got my bike the stock air filter was toast and the bike looked like it been dipped in chocolate. Previous owner didn't treat her like a moped. Is the chagning of the jets necessary? My plan is to try cleaning them first but if I need to change them to a different size I might as well just have them replaced. 98 Hugger is the ride....young and eager to learn is the RIDER.
