Pic of my lowering brackets. Looks like I need to re-paint the bolt heads.

I have a set I just got Saturday. They are for an 05-09, adjustable for 1-3 inch drop, powder-coated, hardware included. I put them on and took them right back off...no ride time on these. I really liked them and the stance it gave, jut I have molded HD bags and the drop kit moves the shocks to a position where the bags don't fit. (The back of the bags are designed to be molded around the shock, in its stock location) So, my loss is someone's gain on this I guess. I paid $30 bucks shipped but I'll take $25 shipped. HERE is the actual e-bay auction.
E-mail me is interested: Misterskin2000@yahoo.com
Ebay ID: Misterskin (100% positive....no worries)

I may be a little late on this thread, but I put a lowering kit on my 94 Sporty. I love the way it sits now, but with less travel room in the fender. my back tire started hitting the inside of the fender. had to pull out the bolt that keeps the strap on the seat and the nut that is welded on to the fender. and had to tap the fender with a ball peen hammer to round out the fender in that spot. at least it's still covered up by the seat so ya can't see that spot. now every now and then when I catch a good bump the tire will hit the top of the fender, or when I have a passenger.

Hello all. I'm also interested in lowering the rear of my wife's sportster. It's a 2004 1200 custom. I'm having trouble locating some kind of lowering block for a 2004 model. The swingarm must have changed in 2005 some kind of way so as not to accomadate a lowering block??? It has the OEM shocks on it now and I don't want to add any kind of shock that will stiffen the ride more than it is now, she's only 125 pounds. Any ideas out there???? Thanks

I'm going to just get a couple pieces of metal from work and drill some holes in it to make my own lowering blocks. They look pretty cut and dry and the price people/ companies are getting for these I may be able to sell them and retire early... lol
