Default Throttle Problem

I got on my 06 Sporty this morning, noticed the throttle was a little sticky, let it warm up and took off. The throttle has no "spring back" action, when you give it gas, it sticks right there. I have to manually move the throttle back. When it got light enough to see, the cable (there are 2 on the throttle side) closest to me was completely disconnected. I couldn't do anything cause I was on the highway. I got to work and put the cable back into position, checked the other one, it was a little loose but was holding. But I still have no spring back. Any ideas of what happened??? Please help....again.
Thanks
Razor

Does it have a throttle lock screw going into it from the bottom? I have hit mine with the side of my hand and tightened it a little by accident. Look on the carb and see if the spring is broken, it is behind where the cable hooks to the carb. Good luck, RD

Thanks Randy, appreciate the advice. I've only been on here 2 days and have found more help than I ever have in the whole 4 years I've had my Sporty. I took a closer look while I was at lunch and figured out that the cable broke where it goes into the bottom of the throttle, beside the throttle lock, which I will check when I get back out there. I still gotta drive that damn thing home today...30 miles. Hope I don't have to shut'er down quick.
