Thanks hotlap I have a problem with the front brake light not working, back works fine, but no front. I figured the switch is probably bad or not set right, I just havn't pulled it apart to check. But I know the wire colors now before I get started.

 

I didnt use the test light through the whole system just from plug up into the bars & the orange & yellow grounded on me. & the bule when I trun on the low beam at switch. Think there is a short in the bars or switch !

 

how can i test the headlight switch to see if it is gonna work before installing i tried a mutimeter it has three wires white yellow and blue i put the meter on the blue and white and tuned the switch to high and low and got nothing same with blue to yellow and yellow to white hoping someone can help thanks alot
