I think I know the answer to this question but I thought I'd ask.....
I have a 2005 XL1200C and the question is how do I move the signals down without cutting the wire? I thought I remember reading what it was possible to do but I sure don't see how. Here's a picture of my situation... How do I feed the wire through the handle bar extensions?
And yup....it's all dirty. I live on a gravel road and it sucks!
Never mind folks. I did the remove the handlebar riser trick. Read that some where. Worked ok but what a pain in the butt. Seems they could have made that kit a little easier.
I am not sure I am seeing that right, but is your current wiring set up still coming up through the fork hole? Wouldnt you want to pull those wires through so they are lower where you mount the lights again? i think you need to pull the entire wire, both sides all the way out to the left side and then fish the right side wire and light through your headlight and forks to the other side. any one else seeing this?
