Default Wind Shield Questions
I was looking at windshields in the parts catalog and noticed the lightly smoked windshield. Do any of you out there have one of those or is everyones clear? Id appreciate any pictures, thanks

Mine had a light smoked one on it when I got it. I found it to be a tad distracting at night. I like the clear a lot more

Light smoke on mine. I think it looks better than the clear and it does not distract me in any light.

my del rey is the solar tint, its just enough and doesnt cause any problems
at night

I've got a clear detachable H-D windshield, love it. Got it on ebay - brand new and saved about $80 compared to the dealer. no pic sorry.

I have the lightly smoked detachable and love it. When they say, "lightly", they aren't kidding. There is just enough tint there to barely notice there is a tint. However, it goes well with the black on chrome of my Sporty.

Mine's clear detachable, sorry no pic, I rarely have it on. I like to use it on longer trips especially on the slab at speed to help with wind fatigue. I look over the top, so I'm not sure it would make any difference smoked or not for me... I think if I kept it on all the time I would prefer a tinted shade just for aesthetics, but since I use it only occasionally I don't mind the clear. Price was right (free) :P
