My 87 Hugger SS 883 is not starting? The battery is new (supposedly) and is at 12.4. It doesn't crank over!
The middle CB starts clicking and gets really hot? I replaced it and it still doesn't start? Sometimes, it will do a half *** crank but only one or two times, the rest of the time, it does NOTHING?
The lights come on and they are bright. The battery loses voltage when I hit the start button. It usually goes down to about 11.9. This should be enough to still crank it, shouldn't it? The lights blink every time it clicks?
I bought a new battery and am charging it now. What else should I check? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
