Default Just bought some stuff

I got a little carried away and raped eBay.

I bought a smoke LED tail light, some turn signal covers, turn signal relocation kit, new mirrors, and am in the process of buying a side-mount license plate from a member here. All this should be arriving in 1-2 weeks.

Since I'm in a buying mood, I figure I should just keep going.

I can't seem to find chrome forks for my 2009 883L. What am I supposed to be searching for? Chrome Forks, Chrome Sliders?

Also, what can I cover my old license plate mount holes on my fender with?

And what's the consensus on chrome clutch/brake levers?

I've got some clamps that attach my speedometer right above the headlamp. It's the stock speedometer and it looks like crap in my opinion. Any suggestions on what to do with it? Spin it around and put it on the bars above the gas tank maybe?

Also, is there a flush mount gas cap available for the sportster?

Anything else? Picture for reference:

The look you want should personal thing... if its cool with you ,that's cool in my book.
Personally I don't see the appeal of smoked lenses. But good for you if you like them and want to change.
Obviously filling and spraying the rear fender to hide the existing licence plats holes is your best bet but in the meantime get some dome head nuts.
I prefer the chrome pegs over the chrome exhausts.
I would lift the headlight then the speedo doesn't look lost.

Enjoy your mods and have a good ride.

I would not get chromed legs, instead if you polish your current ones they will come out looking so good.
I have seen pictures of members doing it and it always turns out nice.

Trick is to knock off the clear coat with some sandpaper (800 grit or so), sand them smooth (1000grit) then use a buffing wheel to bring them to a near mirror finish.

i used semi crome polish on my stock levers and they shine up real nice. but you got to polish them for a while.

6" risers, no need to change any cables.

Everything else stayed stock. The risers with the drag bars are just short enough.

xo4d, i see you have drag bars and proly didnt need to change your brk line. i have an 09 883l that i put nightster bars on. i want to put taller risers and fell the cables will be fine, worried i may need to change brk line since m/cyl will be further out than on the bars like yours. your bike looks good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
