Thanks guys--my photobucket account has been crapped out lately--I'll try to at least post some pics here:
In short, I saw an initial hp/tq increase by 10/9 respectively, but am still working with Mastertune TTS to get a big hole in the VE maps fixed around 2500-3100 rpms. Love the look and the sound, just trying to determine if performance-wise it's the best set of pipes out there. Still deciding. Also threw my dyno numbers out there with 2 different air cleaners for your comparison.
Just slapped on the Blackout. I wrapped the standard baffle with matting but would like it quieter still. Are the quiet baffles (V&H Part #21899) still on backorder or does anyone know of a place that has some available? I did a Google search and 2 places SAY they have them but actually do not.
Yea i really like the blackout 2 into 1. I think that is what i am going to put on my 08 nightster. most likely to use the fuelpack from V&H too. what seat is that you have WDHGS?

That dip you are seeing there around 2500 is from reversion. 2 into 1 pipes are infamous for reversion problems in lower rpm range. A lot of exhaust companies make the head pipes way too short thus allowing the filling cylinder to be able to suck in the exhaust of the other cylinder during cam overlap. That combined with a baffle that slows down the exhaust even more and your volumetric efficiency goes way down. I don't think you can tune out reversion, pretty sure that is characterized by the design of the exhaust.
I rode the bike today for the first time since putting the pipes on and under easy acceleration from a stop I have a stumble off idle (and got one slight back-fire) that was not there with the ShortShots. If I twist it a little more from a light it does not happen. No popping under decel what so ever. The bike's acceleration seems kind of flat now but I think that may be more of a flat torque curve than it had with the ShortShots which delivered a "peaky" acceleration.
I'm going to pop in a couple thumb screws in the standard baffle and wait for the quiet baffle to see if that helps (when it becomes available) and if it still remains I will slap on a Patriot Top Fueler.
