Default neutral switch on 07 nightster
Hi everyone, anyone have a problem on their nightster's neutral switch ? my neutral light has gone out and i suspect it may be the switch, does anyone know where this switch is located ?

Yeah it's threaded into the right side of the crankcase right by the front drive sprocket. I think you have to remove the sprocket to change it. Might just be the indicator light burned out, find neutral and see if the bike will start, clutch not pulled in. If the switch is bad, as in not providing a ground to the TSM and the indicator light, it won't start, and won't turn on the green neutral light. Maybe you already tried this, a service manual is really worth having for stuff like this.

When I had my 07 it went out; turned out to be in the harness itself, which was replaced under warranty.
