I'm interested in the Biltwell tracker bars with bar end round mirrors setup (and HD nostalgic grips). Has anyone seen or has this setup? Please post pics or opinions. Also... I'm new to this DIY wrenching stuff... do I purchase dimpled or undimpled bars?
I thought this setup would be a good betweener of stock and drag bars.
You need dimpled bars if you are not internally wiring them.
I don't have that specific bar but I have a set of tracker bars on one of mine for exactly the same reason ( as a "betweener" of drag bars & the stock buckhorns) and I like them alot.
Thanks. Those are plain old drag bars on that bike. I try to do as much of my own mods as I can. I've only needed help with a couple things here & there...but I'm not afraid to ask.
Interested to see some pics as well. I also have a black 1200N and would like to move to a bar that is lower than the stockers...but not sure if I want to go with drag bars.
I've installed a couple Biltwell bars that are dimpled. They're fine but they kind of swell the bar a little making it tricky to get the switch housings to fit right.
Doing a little research and came up with the numbers below, hopefully they help you out. I have a buddy with an Iron and I rode it a few times before getting my N. I prefer the Iron bars height and pullback but the N's width. I think even a little lower and little less pullback than the Iron would be ideal...hence my interest in this thread.
