I am wondering if it is just me, or anyone else agrees. I ordered a HD Badlander seat off ebay because it looked like a really neat seat. When I got it, I was supper disappointed -thin, hard as a rock and very uncomfortable. Transmitted every little vibration, looked great, but very uncomfortable. Wasted my money.
yea i have one...dont use it...its better than stock but not by a hair...and my fiance hated it. we went only on a couple of cruises with it...the longest of which i let her ride back on my buddies street glide....i feel your pain. paid a good amount of money for it.
i have a badlander and do my commute and weekend rides on it
has about 1400 miles on it now plus what the PO put on it before i got it from
him.
it has softened up really nice as far as my butt is concerned but i also have a
harley reach seat that i got a great deal on and that is my distance seat
if were going to do a couple hundreds miles i will toss that on and my passengers
love that seat.

I've put about 10,000 miles on the bike sitting on a badlander, so no, I don't agree with you.
It is not the most padded seat in the world, on this we agree.
Wife has started to ride w/me sometimes and hates it, and when she does the original seat will go on, it only takes about 30 seconds to change them out so she'll be happy.
hahah i literally just got a call from the stealership that my badlander seat was in and i can pick it up hahahaha. Oh well i have heard ok things about it and it cant be worse than the stocker. Its also a hell of alot cheaper than any other seat ive seen out there.
I am pretty sure that the stock seat on my 2009 1200C was a Badlander. I could live with it, but I rarely ride more than 100 miles in a day. For a passenger, it is a sick joke. I replaced it with a Sundowner, primarily for the sake of my wife. I don't care much for the looks of the Sundowner, but it is a much more comfortable seat.
