Default adjusting handle bars

HI gang..
Got a question..
I been riding the bike some.. I kind of noticed that it seems the handle bars aren't centered.
I know how to adjust the bars up and down.... easy fix.
But I was curious how to fix them side to side.
Seems I am always turned slightly to the right when the wheel is perfectly straight.
The more I ride it the more it bothers me.... especially when I am coming to a stop.
THANKS

Are you basing the alignment off of your bars? ie:the wheel is straight but your bars are slightly off? If so,you may have bad riser bushings or the riser bolts are not completely tight.

yeah.. when I line the wheel up to go straight... the handles are turned a little to the right... (more than a little to be annoying)
I saw a big (15/16 inch nut) in the center on top (has a screw in chrome cover on it)...
Didn't know if I losened this nut if I could line it back up... and tighten it back down.
Then I was curious just how tight it should be...

I took the cap off and put a wrench on it and it seemed a little loose. Didn't know if maybe it was suppose to be just a 'little' loose,.. I kinda of figured it should be as tight as possible.
Then again I know there are bearing, racers, etc all in there, and I suppose it could be possible to tighten the nut "too tight"
Heaven knows I don't want to leave the nut ANY loose if it is supposed to be as tight as possible.. then I didn't want to go too far and ruin anything inside.
What can you tell me.

No that's your neck bolt. These bolts(2)are under your top triple tree. directly under your left and right riser. Those are the ones i am refering to.

ok.. I hadn't done anything with them...
so should I loosen the bolts directly over the risers.... line it all up, and then tighten them..??
Guess I might need to make sure of this.. Tighten the bolts all the way.?? these, and the neck bolt both.??

By the way.. thanks for the reply

It's best to have a buddy hold your bars so they don't fall back and possibly do damage to your tank. Have your helper face the bike, put your front wheel between his legs while he holds the bars. Losen the (4) bolts up. slightly losen your (2) riser bolts. Sit on your scoot, look down the center and carefully uncock your bar/risers. Tighten your top bar clamp screws(4).Then tighten the riser bolts without over tightening them as this will result in you stripping out the risers. If the still continue to **** while you turn, your riser bushings are shot. they cost about $20.00 for the set from H-D.
